I was born and raised in Wichita, KS. After attending a Tech school in Austin, TX, I was hired as an equipment technician by INTEL. My job moved me to Oregon for one year of product training and then to Massachusetts for a full-time position.

Living in such a cold state was definitely not for me so I applied for a job with INTEL in New Mexico in 2003. Not long after I decided that I was going to stay. I had a house built in Rio Rancho which is where I still live.

After some corporate cutbacks within INTEL, my career as a technician ended in 2007. I had a close friend guide me towards Insurance, for that I am thankful. I took my Insurance license Exam in March of 2008 and have been helping others with their Insurance ever since.

Insurance is confusing and overwhelming and there are a lot of products out there that aren’t necessarily right for everyone. As people get older, navigating insurance can be even more difficult. When someone is an employee and they want health dental or vision insurance, they just check a box and give it to their employer. When people are rolling into Medicare they begin to realize how complex the system is and how many different choices and options they have.

Personal Statement

“As a professional Insurance Agent of the Affordable Care Act and Medicare, I take almost 100 hours of continuing education per year just to keep up with all of the changes. It is my job and my passion to make sure that those I help understand all of their options before making the decision to enroll in a plan. I operate on the core values of ethics, honesty and the belief that all should be treated the same way I would treat my own parents or grandparents. It is for these reasons that I am a trusted advisor who is here to help people with navigating the complexities of their insurance options.”

I was born and raised in the city of Lima in the beautiful country of Peru, South America. I attended to Pacific University where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After graduation, I worked at an agricultural bank for almost eleven years. Later, in my career I worked at a popular children’s clothes retail store for seven years as the office manager.

In the winter of 1999, I immigrated to the United States of America and enrolled in CNM where I studied English as a second language. My first professional job was with the Rio Grande of Santa Fe insurance company.

In 2003, I obtained my property and casualty, life, and health insurance licenses from the state of New Mexico. I began to sell commercial policies, life, and personal lines (Auto and Home) with Farmers Insurance. I gained a lot of experience with this company and obtained many recognitions and awards for my work with Spanish speaking clients by helping them with their insurance needs.

As an Agent, I take yearly Continuing Education and Professional Ethics and Compliance classes that are required by law with the Insurance Department of New Mexico

In 2020 Sharri spoke with me about selling MEDICARE & Health Insurance. This gave me the opportunity to meet people and educated them with different choices for their Medicare insurance.

I am fluent in Spanish and I like to educate people regarding their health insurance needs. Each year I will strive to work honesty and maintain a good relationship with individual client.
